OMG. OMFG. I had the bacon grilled cheese on sourdough bread and it was good. But it came with soup. OMG. The soup was beyond amazing, beyond fantastic, beyond anything you can imagine for tomato soup. It was a solid 10/10 and that's not justice for how good it actually was. It was, without a doubt, the BEST soup I've ever had in my life. This was my first visit and will not be my last.

Excellent breakfast spot! The food was fresh, delicious, and served quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Awesome brunch with my sister. Slight 10 mins wait by the door as the place was busy and packed (you can find out yourself why). Food was excellent and the waitress was kind, friendly and explained about the recommended food thoroughly.

Had a great brunch at Monki. Both dishes were excellent, especially the eggs benedict and breakfast plate. The potatoes were crispy, portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive the whole time. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, making it a great spot to catch up over breakfast or brunch. Definitely coming back again soon! Will return for sure!!!

Alicia was our server and she was an absolute gem. She noticed my toddler getting antsy so she brought over a busy board which gave me a few extra minutes to inhale my food and coffee.Their crab cake benny was yummy! I wish there was more salad and something pickled to help balance the heaviness of the food. Their salted caramel latte with oat milk was also good.

We had such a wonderful experience at Monki in Seton! From the moment we walked in, the service was incredibly fast and friendly. Our server was so kind and patient with our young kids, which made the whole meal so much more enjoyable for our family.The restaurant was spotless, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. It's not always easy to find a place that delivers great food while also making families with young children feel so welcome, but Monki truly exceeded our expectations.We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch spot!

Happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦🍁This was our fourth visit to Monki, and it never disappoints. My husband and I came for brunch, and I ordered my favorite avocado toast again, while he had the avocado toast with three slices of bacon. We paired everything with two cups of their drip coffee, and as always, everything was absolutely delicious.The avocado toast is honestly one of the healthiest and tastiest I’ve had. I love it so much that I’m actually trying to recreate it at home! Every bite is fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.The atmosphere is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The café has such a beautiful, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. We booked a table just to be safe, although there were plenty of tables available today. Parking is also easy, which makes visiting even more convenient.The service has always been warm and consistent, and the quality of the food never disappoints. It’s only about three minutes from where we live, making it our go-to breakfast and brunch spot.On our last visit, I received a Monki tote bag, and I’m excited because I heard I’ll get a free Monki water bottle on my fifth visit. That’s definitely another reason to keep coming back!I’ve already brought family here several times, and I’ll continue recommending Monki to my friends and family. I’m already eyeing the Avocado Garden Salad for my next visit!Thank you, Monki, for another wonderful experience. Happy Canada Day, and see you again very soon! ❤️

First time here. The food (beef brisket hash) was delicious! Recommend adding the chopped bacon and a side of avocados. Service was great! Juliana was our server and she was very lovely. Portion sizes were decent too. Highly recommend!

I am absolutely blown away by this place. We got our reservation wrong on Father’s Day, and they were still able to fit us in no problem. The food was AMAZING and the servers and wait staff were great at their jobs. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Food was absolutely delicious and the ambience was perfect.We didn't mind that our server was a bit cold during the meal, but the interaction at the end was really weird. When asking if I wanted a receipt, I politely said, "I'm good," and she abruptly snapped, "Yes or no?" I’m not asking for over-the-top friendliness, just proper, professional treatment. It was an unnecessarily curt moment after an otherwise fantastic experience.

Here’s a balanced review you could post:We had a great breakfast experience here. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was also fantastic: clean, comfortable, and a really enjoyable place to start the day.The food was overall very good, but the one thing that fell a little short for me was the waffles. They tasted more like they were made from a commercial pre-made batter rather than being house-made, which was a bit disappointing given how strong everything else was.That said, the service and atmosphere were standout qualities, and I’d definitely return to try more items from the menu.

I am new to Calgary only been a month now.I was just finished the gym and looking for a great breakfast to have. I saw the brisket hash on the menu online.I can highly recommend not only this item as it is the only I have had but the coffee is amazing that is worth the trip here.Thanks so much for the wonderful atmosphere and the speed and quality of the service. Food was out of this world.Will come back when the family comes. New favorite place for breakfast!!!

Good food, nice staff. Went for brunch with friends, it was one of their birthday, we asked if they would do something for birthday's. The server said yes. A manager brought out dessert French toast at no charge and didn't end up charging us for the birthday person meal, very nice experience. 😀
